The musical play MLQ, Ang Buhay ni Manuel Luis Quezon by
Full House Asia Production, presented by the Quezon City Government tru Mayor
Herbert Bautista, open the newly constructed Kia Theater, formerly known as The
New Frontier Cinema way back then, still in Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon
City.
The first play and event to use the almost 2,500 seating
capacity theater is headed by Actor Arnold Reyes playing the mighty role of
Quezon, the second President of Philippines. The story open at the epitaph of
Quezon wherein three students of this generations dissect and dig more about
Quezon’s childhood up to his last days. It provides a visual presentation on
how Quezon survive the war and the war in politics as well.

Under the direction and written by George De Jesus III,
the play provides more detailed and accurate biographical life events of
Quezon, from being a Seminarian, to being a Governor of Tayabas, to being a
Fiscal in Mindoro and being an assemblyman that lead him to Malacanang. It aims to inspire the youth of today, on
what kind of sacrifices the father of Filipino language been trough

MLQ The Musical also feature Chinie Concepcion as Aurora
Quezon, and the three students are Ross Pesigan, Joshua Deocareza and Martha
Comia. Other cast are Topper Fabregas, Jun Ofracio, Stella Canete, Dolly De
Leon, Joel Saracho, Christian Velarde, Randy Villarama, Richard Cunanan, Ron
Alfonso, Kathleen Francisco, Ruth Aferez, Joann Co and Melvin Sumalinog as the
guitarist.
The play open last August 19, 2015 that mark the 137th
Birthday of Quezon , it runs until August 28 with two shows daily one from 10
in 2pm show.
