Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. CCP to hold an all-women festival of plays in celebration of the 2020’s Women’s Month

THE Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) in partnership with Women Playwrights International-Philippines (WPIP) will hold a three-day event entitled Festival of Plays by Women on March 6 to 8, 2020.   This event will have three components: the Forum in the morning, Reading of Women’s Plays in the afternoon, and featured performances in the evening. There are also a creators’ market and interviews with renowned playwrights at various venues in CCP with the theme Empowerment, Diversity and Equality. Join us as we celebrate women’s month with inspiring women playwrights and theater practitioners. New Performances At The Sinag: Festival Of Radiance

Komedya ng Don Galo THE Cultural Center of the Philippines continues its pursuit of “truth, goodness and beauty” with new free performances for its Sinag: Festival of Radiance, happening every weekend starting November 16 until December 15. Last November 16, the Simeona F. Chanyungco Lahing Kayumanggi Mananayaw ng Marikina (SFCLKM) Inc. delighted passersby, tourists and just about anyone who visited the complex with folk dances from the different regions in the Philippines. One of the best performers of the 2018 CCP Band Festival, the General Trias Youth Symphonic Band, under the musical direction of PPO's Frenvee Clarito Andra, plays pop classics and medleys on November 23. FEU celebrates Culture and Arts on May 4

FEU Bamboo Band with Ms.Banaue Miclat-Jenssen and Raymund Gorospe Far Eastern University celebrate Heritage Month this coming May 4, 2019 with two monumental event spearheaded by FEU President’s committee on Culture and Arts, this is also mark the 70 th anniversary of FEU Auditorium, the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 1950’s, it was design by National Artist for Architecture Pablo Antonio in 1949. The first event is the “Significance in the details: Identifying values in Heritage sites and structures”, is comprised of two lectures and a highly walk about talk through the 91 year old University, plus a basic understanding of the Heritage law by Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) President, Atty.
