THE Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) in partnership with Women Playwrights International-Philippines (WPIP) will hold a three-day event entitled Festival of Plays by Women on March 6 to 8, 2020.   This event will have three components: the Forum in the morning, Reading of Women’s Plays in the afternoon, and featured performances in the evening. There are also a creators’ market and interviews with renowned playwrights at various venues in CCP with the theme Empowerment, Diversity and Equality. Join us as we celebrate women’s month with inspiring women playwrights and theater practitioners. Komedya ng Don Galo THE Cultural Center of the Philippines continues its pursuit of “truth, goodness and beauty” with new free performances for its Sinag: Festival of Radiance, happening every weekend starting November 16 until December 15. Last November 16, the Simeona F. Chanyungco Lahing Kayumanggi Mananayaw ng Marikina (SFCLKM) Inc. delighted passersby, tourists and just about anyone who visited the complex with folk dances from the different regions in the Philippines. One of the best performers of the 2018 CCP Band Festival, the General Trias Youth Symphonic Band, under the musical direction of PPO's Frenvee Clarito Andra, plays pop classics and medleys on November 23. FEU Bamboo Band with Ms.Banaue Miclat-Jenssen and Raymund Gorospe Far Eastern University celebrate Heritage Month this coming May 4, 2019 with two monumental event spearheaded by FEU President’s committee on Culture and Arts, this is also mark the 70 th anniversary of FEU Auditorium, the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 1950’s, it was design by National Artist for Architecture Pablo Antonio in 1949.
