Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Phenom and Team Gilas Women’s is the Philippines representative for Red Bull Reign Global Finals

Red Bull Reign already has its champions, and will represent Philippines this coming August for the Red Bull Reign Global Finals in Toronto, Canada. The two Champions that emerged victorious last Saturday, June 29th, 2019, at Kerry Sports Manila in Bonifacio Global City are the Phenom for Men’s category, and Women’s Champions is Team Gilas Women’s. They will compete with other 15 nations from around the globe. Red Bull Reign is a high-endurance, offense-driven 3-on-3 street basketball tournament that brings the best ballers in the world together. Each game is contested under strict rules inspired by FIBA’s (International Basketball Federation) 3-on-3 rules: Teams consist of 3 players (+1 reserve) age 18 and above. Alaska's Jr.NBA and JR.WNBA ends at National Training Camp.

The Jr.NBA and Jr.WNBA Presented by Alaska started its search for the best basketball players in the country through Regional Selection Camp that was held at Baguio City, Davao, Cebu and Don Bosco Institute in Makati.  Boys and girls who joined the searchfor the ten best boys and five best girls basketball players will become members of the Jr.NBA and Jr.WNBA All-Star team. There was also a search for the boys and girls coaches who will handle the two teams. The All-Star Team will travel overseas for their NBA experience trip together with fellow Jr. NBA All-Stars from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. The 2015 Jr. NBA All-Stars traveled to China to watch the NBA Global Games in Shenzhen featuring the Charlotte Hornets and the L.A. Clippers. By Norman Alexis Laurel The UA ROADSHOW MANILA was held at the Mall of Asia on September 5.  It was Steph Curry’s second stop in a 5 day Asia roadshow.  It was also part of promoting his new signature shoe, the Curry Two. The event was hosted by Andrei Felix, Gretchen Ho and Bea Fabregas It started with a shootout among kids who were chose from the audiences.  The kid who won the shootout took whom a clutch fit UA rubber shoes.  it is also a star  studded event wherein local celebrity and UA ambassadors are present, such as Basketball aficionado and Teen King Daniel Padilla, JC Devera, Jasmin Curtis and a lot more.   Kevin Plank, the Founder and the CEO of Under Armour was also present at the event.  His wife being a Filipino made him to choose Manila as one of the stops of the roadshow.
