Last week, I was doing a wedding coverage and the venue of the reception is new to me. Although I've been hearing it thru my friends, I've never been to this place.  Last Wednesday was the first time I came and visited the place and dined in it. First time I saw it, I fell in love with it! It's but a small place and yet I felt it was full of everything. The owner of this place maximize it's usage.  I love viewing / looking on all the wall decors. Cool effect to the eyes! They crew/staffs were friendly and always with a smile whenever a customer comes in.  They also play lovely music just like that of  excellent sterling by music man bass at guitar center. A week ago, I received an SMS message saying that I can hav a free taste of Miss Kate Cuarte's Brazo de Mercedes cupcake.  So, when Miss Kate sent me a message a couple of days after she first informed me, I didn't hesitate on picking up a bunch of cupcakes for me to taste! Well, of course its the privilege of being a regular customer of her goodies. ;) I am a big fan and lover of Brazo de Mercedes cakes! So as expected, this is surely a hit for my kid and i can't not love this cupcake. The best part is it is topped with Almonds!

Yummy looking cake. But looks can deceive, you know! Ang tigas ng cake.. So frustrating! I just learned the other day that the bakeshop/coffee shop owned by my high school batch mate closed down already and is now a "BBQ/sisig resto".  I went there one afternoon after a tiring shoot I had, to try some it's yummy food listed on their menu. But unfortunately, almost 75% of those listed were not available for consumption. It was actually disappointing. But still not losing hope, I ordered a cake and asked for some latte (next was a frappe but no avail). So I settled with a can of soda. Beautifully laden menu.. A long overdue post. I was so busy with my baby, hence have a little time composing blog posts. Sometime August this year, my cousin got married. She asked me what's the best place to have a little salo-salo with friends and family that will be attending her civil wedding. I suggested one place, of course, Ka-Inato! I've been to one branch only ( Rizal Avenue Extension branch ), so I suggested to choose the one that I've never been to. Ka Inato's San Jose branch.  The Wash Area.. I love the wooden sink! As promised, I brought the kids to the City Park to have a little walk and short play. It's been a busy week for my eldest for she's been reading a lot, reviewing for her coming 2nd quarter exams next week. I ask my father to bring us to the park and he gladly did, plus waited for us too. :) My Yngrid is kinda grumpy that time.. She's already sleepy the moment we left the house, hence no smiles on her photos Yngrid doesn't want to look at the camera.. :( Obviously so not in the mood..
