Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Bandang 90’s Concert, the perfect finale for Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino 2019.

Dong Abay It rains hard that night of July 31, the last day of the month but like music, its unstoppable and didn’t dampen our spirit to catch Bandang 90’s concert, one of the two shows to close the weeklong celebration of “Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino 2019” celebration at Historia Bar in Quezon City. Head by Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit with National Commission for Culture And Arts, the festival aims to promote awareness and appreciation of all forms of Filipino music through many platforms, it started last July 20 and it covers different music venues nationwide from Metro Manila up to Davao City. Candon City invites everyone for a 3 Day Music Festival

Team Candon Music Festival 2019 From the City of Arts and Culture in the whole Ilocos Sur, a new summer festival is born combining modern to classical music that features more than 30 artists, bands and performers all over the country, it is the first ever Candon Music Festival scheduled this May 23 to 25, 2019 at the Bagani Campo Concert Grounds. The three day festival is headed by National Artist for Music, Ryan Cayabyab as the festival Director,  who see the event as a opportunity for the young minds to appreciate music in different genre, plus he include in the Festival some Ilocano songs to be perform by different orchestra including his own Ryan Cayabyab Singers, plus two notable Ilocano singers to perform, Noel Cabangon and Davey Langit. The night we enjoy Fete De La Musique 2015 at Makati.

It was a long day for us last June 20, 2015, but the music keeps us alive until wee hours, because we enjoy every single performance for the annual Fete De La Musique, the world known convergence of music artist in different genre, in line with the celebration of French Month in Makati City. At around 4pm we arrive at A-Space in Makati City, it’s a jampacked crowd but and still we find a space for us, most of the artist performing are from the indie circuit, but musicality they are so great and you can really feel their passion even for 3 to 5 songs that we never heard, only until that night.  Among the performances that blown us away are from Reese Lansangan whom we think can be called the Taylor Swift of Indie Music, her poetry in lyrics is amazing.  Manskee is a crowd pleaser, this man really have the heart in his music, and its catchy I tell you.
