Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Palaweño students undergo SM Scholarship screening

Coming from different private and public high schools in Palawan, Palaweño students took the SM College Scholarship qualifying examination at SM City Puerto Princesa, Feb. 17. Twenty-two scholarship applicants from Quezon, Sofronio Española, Aborlan, and Puerto Princesa City successfully passed the preliminary evaluation through the online application required by SM Foundation and proceeded to take the written examination and further screening. “The college scholarship program aims to uplift lives of less-privileged but deserving student applicants,” said Eleanor Lansang, SM Foundation Scholarship Programs assistant vice president. SM College Scholarship looking for applicants

Want to study? Consider this scholarship. SM College Scholarship online application starts last October 15, 2019. The SM Foundation Inc. will begin accepting online application for its College Scholarship Program for School Year 2020-2021 from Oct. 15 to Dec. 31, 2019. Walk-in applicants will not be accepted. For over two decades now, the program has been helping the youth reach their full potential and achieve their dreams, and qualified graduating senior high school students are invited to take advantage of the opportunity. To qualify, a student must be a Grade 12 public high school graduate or Grade 12 graduate from private schools with a Department of Education voucher who completed junior high school from a public school. He or she must have a general weighted average grade of at least 88 percent or its equivalent for Grade 12 during the first semester.
