Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Philippine Culinary at its best in 2019 National Food Fair

The fair for happy tummy is back, 2019 National Food Fair open last March 14 at the Megatrade Hall of SM Megamall with a theme “Philippine Cuisine and Ingredients show” is organized by the Department of Trade and Industry tru Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion in cooperation with DTI’s Regional and Provincial Offices, with support from Department of Tourism and La Germania. NFF is a platform for micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) to showcase the best Philippine Food products, it has an added food and tourism festival component with live cooking demonstrations by featured Chefs and food tasting activities in promoting the country as a culinary destination. For this year, exhibitors are almost double compare to the previous years, there are 250 registered participants from 16 regions of the Philippines, 40 of that are new players to this field such as processed foods and beverage, regional delicacies, ...

The in-house restaurant of Canvass Boutique Hotel here in Puerto Princesa, is introducing a new flavors, an experience to look for thru the Mexican foods that they offer since February of this year, the revamp of their menu is to cater for foreign market and to have a fresh start for 2019. “The basic connotation of hotel food is fancy, really elegant, slight formal, so we decided to be very casual, very fun, it’s like an experience that’s why we decided on doing Mexican so that we can cater to the foreign market as well as introduce new cuisines here in Puerto Princesa.” Chef Mikel Zaguirre said.
