Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. An Evening Of Legend, Rhythm And Color, Prelude To The ASEAN Summit

Prelude to the 31st ASEAN Summit in which the Philippines takes the chairmanship for 2017, a gathering of best of ASEAN performances were showcased on November 4, 2017 at the CCP Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino entitled " Roots And Rhythms: The Best Of ASEAN Performing Arts. Chris B. Millado, CCP Vice President and Artistic Director and Jonathan Tan Ghee Tiong, ASEAN Head/Assistant Director for Culture and Information Division Sustainable Development Directorate of Socio-Cultural Community and Secretariat did the welcoming remarks. The show started with a cultural and oriental opening improvisation sounds and dances featuring artist delegates from the ASEAN Member States. Mahabharata B-War, Theater Review.

It's a complex tale of love, life, family, war, religion, philosophy, politics and culture. Hiroshi Koike, an acclaimed artist from Japan, wishes to create harmony among different cultures using Mahabharata on stage. The Pan-Asia Mahabharata Project which started in 2013 in Cambodia can be listed as Koike's greatest achievements to date. This production will run until 2020 in different Asian countries. This time in Manila, the continuation of the first two chapters (Mahabharata B-War) hit the PETA Theater Center last December 2-3. Mahabharata B-War is a melting pot of Asian senses.
