Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Association of Philippine Newspapers celebrate 55th year.

With the age of Digital and Online Journalism happening, Newspapers remain to be one of the pillars of the modern world existing and still fighting against many media platform today. That’s the real message of Philippine Press Institute, also known as the national association of Philippine newspapers since 1964 as they hold the annual National Press Forum last July 4 to 6 at the Hotel Jen in Manila. Celebrating the 55 th year as an association, and 23 rd year for the forum, PPI remains to be the best venue of data gathering directly from selected speakers who share an opinion, ideas, and suggestion for the nation building. With attendees from all over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao editors and publishers, this year’s theme is “Governance, Democracy Media: Building Better Communities”.
