Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. FEU celebrates Culture and Arts on May 4

FEU Bamboo Band with Ms.Banaue Miclat-Jenssen and Raymund Gorospe Far Eastern University celebrate Heritage Month this coming May 4, 2019 with two monumental event spearheaded by FEU President’s committee on Culture and Arts, this is also mark the 70 th anniversary of FEU Auditorium, the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 1950’s, it was design by National Artist for Architecture Pablo Antonio in 1949. The first event is the “Significance in the details: Identifying values in Heritage sites and structures”, is comprised of two lectures and a highly walk about talk through the 91 year old University, plus a basic understanding of the Heritage law by Heritage Conservation Society (HCS) President, Atty. Mark Evidente, a lecture on Digital scanning in documenting heritage structures by Conrad Alampay, HCS trustee, and FEU Director for Culture and Arts Martin Lopez will discuss the well preserve art deco of FEU auditorium.
