Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Alice Reyes choreographed her first own version in 1982 with Rita Dureza and Cynthia as Clara, Leslie Browne, Effie Nañas, Maricar Drilon and Toni Lopez Gonzalez as the Sugarplum Fairy and John Meehan, Nonoy Froilan, Brando Miranda and Adam Sage as the Nutcracker Prince. In 1991, Reyes' version was restaged by Nonoy Froilan with Mylene Aggabao and Naomi Tolome as Clara, Gina Katigbak and Melissa Cuachon as the Sugarplum Fairy and Mario Esperanza and Jinn Ibarrola as the Nutcracker Prince. Edna Vida's original choreographic version premiered in 1987 with Maria Veronica Fargas and Maria Leilani R. Da Silva as Clara, Lisa Macuja, Cecile Sicangco, Gina Katigbak, Melissa Cuachon and Ida Beltran as the Sugarplum Fairy and Nonoy Froilan, Conrad Dy-Liacco, Brando Miranda and Jun Mabaquio as the Nutcracker Prince. It was then restaged in 2003, with Wendy Esteban and Lynn Leveille as Clara, Kris-Belle Paclibar, Mica Bernas and Hanedy Sala as the Sugarplum Fairy and Clark Rambuyon...

Experience Disney And Ballet In " Your Highness "

  The second part of the performance series under Happyland (2017) entitled " Your Highness " will have its world stage debut at the CCP T  anghalang Aurelio Tolentino on July 27, 2017 at 8pm. This production will have its premiere at several performing arts festivals in Germany and Switzerland from August to September 2017. Produced by Ballet Philippines and Kunstlerhaus Mousonturm Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and co-produced by Internationales Sommerfestival Kampnagel, Hamburg (Germany), Zurcher Theater Spektakel, Zurich (Switzerland) and La Batie - Festival Geneve, Geneve (Switzerland). Your Highness is a collaboration between Ballet Philippines and an independent artist Eisa Jocson. Jocson's three solos (Death Of The Pole Dancer, Macho Dancer and Host) were shown in major festivals in Asia, Europe, America and Australia.
