It’s the National Hero Andres Bonifacio’s
birthday, and the perfect time always for Tutuban Center to officially light
their Christmas tree right in front of their busiest avenue beside Gat Andres
monument. This event takes place last
Nov 30 in which Kapuso Actor Benjamin Alves lead the official lighting.
Tutuban Center is the most popular
shopping destination in divisoria area of Manila, it turn 25 year older and for
this yuletide season they have 500 stalls that offer quality yet affordable
goods and different gifts items.
Tutuban Center Vice President for
Leasing and Marketing Sylvia Tecson told
us that this year’s Christmas is even more merrier for their shoppers, because
they just open their first ever “Christmas
Wonderland” outside of their mall, it’s
a fair with wonderful 10 rides for all ages, and the most in demand of is the
360 Space Ball, a semi space shuttle ride that will thrill everyone. Christmas
Wonderland is open until January 4, 2015. Entrance fee is P50, and P50 for
every ride.
Tecson also said that there are many
activities that they held this year prior to the lighting of giant Christmas
tree. There is Choral competition attended by different schools, Parol making
contest and the store window display for its tenants.
Come 2015 Tutuban is gearing for another
re-development of its structures, and a new retail concept will be introduce to
the public.
The program ends with jamming of the
band called “Banda Ni Kleggy”.
