Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. PLDT Global celebrates Global Filipino Heroes with music on Independence Day

To celebrate the Philippine Independence Day, technology services company PLDT Global Corporation will hold a free online concert dubbed as “Musikalayaan” dedicated to overseas Filipino around the world.

Headlining the concert are top OPM artists Luke Mejares, Nina, and Ice Seguerra. They will be singing songs about love and freedom dedicated to the Global Filipinos. The event will also feature stories of OFWs who served as frontliners and volunteers in their respective communities to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Through this event, we want to provide global Filipinos a venue to connect and celebrate Independence Day through music and stories,” said Albert V. Villa-Real, Chief Commercial Officer at PLDT Global. “This is also a way for us to recognize our kababayans who went the extra mile and showed the true meaning of bayanihan during this time of crisis,” he added.

Viewers can visit the PLDT Global Facebook Page on June 14, 2020, at 6:00 PM (Philippine Standard Time). Filipinos from other countries can also join in at these times: United Arab Emirates at 2:00 PM; United Kingdom at 11:00 AM; and California, USA at 3:00 AM. (PR)
