Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Segundo Matias Jr Holds Book Signing event at Manila International Book Fair 2018

A book signing event was held last September 14, 2018 by Author Segundo Matias Jr for the installment of his fifth book entitled: Moymoy Lulumboy: Ang Lihim Ng Libro.Apart from the author of the book, the illustrator : Jomike Tejido was also present at the event . Child actor Noel Comia Jr. also graced the book signing event. Segundo Matias Jr. is a recipient of numerous literary award giving bodies, which include three Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, the Philippine’s most prestigious—known as the “Pulitzer Prize” of the Philippines—and longest running awards program.

Mr. Matias has also written screenplays for major movie outfits, as well as teleplays for various TV shows before entering the world of children’s literature. He is also a publisher and has published over 1,500 books for children and young adults The first four books published by Lampara books for the Moymoy Lulumboy Series are: Moymoy Lulumboy (Ang paghahanap kay Inay ) ,Moymoy Lulumboy: Ang Batang Aswang (Book2) Moymoy Lulumboy, ang nawawalang Bertud and the 4th one being Moymoy Lulumboy: Mga Dulot ng Digmaan. With the growing public interest on the franchise, ABS-CBN acquired Moymoy Lulumboy with the hopes of developing the series into a TV series, film, digital piece, merchandise or an attraction.

RESIDENCE INN in Tagaytay City did a good job in hosting the fast rising one of a kind experience Dinner in the dark (Black Dinner), a much talk awareness campaign challenge for the benefit of people who are blind. In the event last Oct 18, 2014 we are fortunate to be invited among other bloggers to experience the so called realization dinner plus the tour of Zoomanity park inside Residence Inn,   wherein they house variety of foreign wildlife animals, fishes, snakes and birds. Before the scheduled dinner there is an orientation coming from the organizers,   a talk from Dra.
