Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. 2015 Korean Film Festival opens in Manila this Oct 8.

The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC) and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea will be opening its annual Korean Film Festival this September to October with the theme, “Strings of Affinity.”

In cooperation with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the Film Cultural Exchange Program, Korean Film Council, Korea Copyright Commission, Korea Tourism Organization, SM Cinema and SM Supermalls., the film festival will be featuring seven films that showcase the depths of human relationships in different scenarios.

The festival had its first run in SM Lanang Premiere in Davao last September 17 to 21, SM Iloilo from September 25 to 27.  From October 1 to 4, the film festival will move to SM City Cebu and will have its final run in SM Megamall in Manila from October 8 to 11.

The film festival features The Thieves, Miss Granny, Cold Eyes, Front Line, Hope, Marriage Blue and Duresori: Voice of the East.
