Everytime Halloween comes, Horror house in different
theme parks and malls are the most common attraction, from scary monsters and
characters, creepy sounds and outrageous costumes and make ups are all for grab
to make you scream at the top your lungs.
But Bahay Trese is different from them, it is a Horror
House but with a lot of twist and turn that really more exciting than ever. It is
the latest attraction of World of Fun at the Sta.Lucia Mall in Cainta, Rizal. It
open last Oct 23, 2015 and will last until January 17, 2016.
Bahay Trese is a collective effort of World Fun,
Lightbulb Moments Entertainment in partnership with Philippine Educational
Theater Association (PETA), in introducing immersive theater experience. During
the press presentation last Oct 27, 2015 at Bahay Trese itself on the 4th
Floor of Sta.Lucia Mall, PETA Artistic Director Maribel Legarda explain to us
the whole idea of Bahay Trese that really have historical background, they want
to create an interaction by not only watching the actors who are making a
scene, but you as a guest must do something to make the experience more
enjoyable.
I will not detail all the happenings, obstacles and drama
inside Bahay Trese as I don’t want to be
the spoiler, it’s because this one really deserves to be visit and experience
especially the set and production value are all amazing. I guarantee you it’s one great experience in a
context of new style in a horror house or horror both set up.
Three to four sets of actors are scheduled in a daily
basis for Bahay Trese, of course train by Peta. Impressive production design
was made by Boni Juan, lighting that add to your fear is by Jonjon Villareal,
and sound design by Jethro Joaquin.
World of Fun have many branches in the Country but they
choose to put Bahay Trese in Sta.Lucia mall since it’s their biggest branch so
far. Bahay Trese is open daily from 3pm
to 9pm at World of Fun in Sta.Lucia Mall, for more info visit
