Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Puerto Princesa City is  regularly sending candidates for this esteemed pageant of Cosmitique Asia Corp, the Miss Silka Philippines, now on its fifth year.

Last November 10 at Market-Market Mall in Taguig City, 16th year old Mikaela Diestro represent the City in a forest. This is her first national pageant so far. Mikaela is a fourth year high school student of Palawan Hope Christian School and a daughter of Russel and Donna Diestro.

 Alexandra Garcia of Zambales is this year’s winner as she bested other 29 hopefuls from different Cities and Provinces in the countries.  Bicolandia bet Jen Zalosa is 1strunner up while Tacloban lass Anika Victoria Acebedo is on the second place, and Marichat Evaristo of Pampanga is Third Runner up.  Garcia take home the grand prize of P100, 000, 00 cash plus the role of being Silka’s Ambassador for a year.

I was at a beautiful wedding recently, and I had a small moment of revelation about the meaning of wearing a wedding ring.
