AntSarap Bakeshop No More

Yummy looking cake. But looks can deceive, you know! Ang tigas ng cake.. So frustrating!

I just learned the other day that the bakeshop/coffee shop owned by my high school batch mate closed down already and is now a "BBQ/sisig resto".

I went there one afternoon after a tiring shoot I had, to try some it's yummy food listed on their menu.

But unfortunately, almost 75% of those listed were not available for consumption. It was actually disappointing. But still not losing hope, I ordered a cake and asked for some latte (next was a frappe but no avail). So I settled with a can of soda.

Beautifully laden menu.. But UNFORTUNATELY, 75% on the list aren't available.

Very neat and nicely arranged place.

The cakes.. I just hope not all of these are "PANGAT". LOL For they sure all looks so delish!
The front. Sad to say, it's no longer a coffee shop.. :(

The time I was there, I am with few foreigners. They also, was dismayed upon learning that the things they wanted to order weren't available that time. One of those even got mad, left the place with some negative remarks about the place.

I just understand recently why it was like that. But, they could have done it better despite the nearing closing down of the place. To have no negative issues/remarks from their clients/customers.

I honestly think that if only they manage the place well, put some time and effort doing the works, the place can be a hit knowing the fact that it is situated in a busy area, near a working place and accessible.

Rating this place (though it's closed already) 2 stars over 5. The neatness and nice comfy feeling of the venue got the points. With the cakes and food availability, it failed.
