GCASH: Pay Bills Even Under Quarantine

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus.
The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.

HOW IT SPREADS
Coronavirus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. (https://www.who.int/)

Due to this pandemic, the government had put us on an Enhanced Community Quarantine which separates and restricts the movement of people who were exposed to the contagious disease to see if they become sick. These people may have been exposed to the Covid-19 virus and do not know it, or they may have the disease but do not show symptoms.

The entirety of Luzon were on an a ECQ... People are required to stay at home and work forces are on hold (aside from those on the Health Care and Security Forces)- well the whole of Luzon Region. That includes Palawan.

ANd during this ECQ period, going out of the house are subject to limitations. People are asked not to go out of their houses when not necessary. Only allowed when buying food supplies or medicines, provided that they have the Home Quarantine Pass given to one member of the household by the BLGU.

Fortunately, the GCash App offers an alternative way to pay bills that is fast, secure, and can be done easily via smartphone – all while staying home. From utilities to government fees, you can choose to pay over 400 billers nationwide for little to no extra fees. Even better, you can use GCredit to pay your bills if you’re already in your petsa de peligro week!
