Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. Design Week Philippines getting ready this summer 2018.

Last Friday, April 6,2018, The Design Week Philippines Team had a gather up at Casa Blanca San Luis Complex Intramuros Manila to discuss the details of the 9-day event to transpire at the Walled City of Intramuros.

For this edition, Design Week is working with the National Commission of Culture and the Arts in mounting several hands-on creative workshops and art booths in to liven Plaza Moriones in Intramuros, Manila and for everyone to enjoy. The list of workshops are as follows:

14 April 2018, 1:00-5:00 PM
• Baybayin Writing Workshop
• Baybayin Henna Tattoo Session
• Basic Silk screen Printing Workshop (Bring your own shirt!)
• Live Sketching Session

21 April 2018, 1:00-5:00 PM
• Poetry Making Workshop
• Smartphone Film making workshop
• Kite making and kite flying activity
• Face painting activity

22 April 2018, 1:00-4:00 PM
• Travel Journaling with Abbey Sy

Apart from the activities mentioned above, there will be two Filipino films that would be shown at Plaza Moriones Intramuros.These films are Saving Sally and Ang Larawan.

I was at a beautiful wedding recently, and I had a small moment of revelation about the meaning of wearing a wedding ring. It’s not an exaggeration to say that my understanding was turned completely upside down.
