Rosana Ombao, one of the three founders of the site told us
that it’s their mission to give Filipino designers especially the up and coming
a platform where they can showcase their arts online, the site is like a blog
where reviews and article about a certain designers and its design is featured,
with videos as well.
The brand design that was presented at the launch are Zarate
Manila by Jim Torres and Vesta by Kate Blancas. Articles about these two
designers are now available in the said site. Ombao clarify to us that they are
not an online store, it’s just a venue to know more about the designers and its

“The website is live, we have several articles already, of
course it’s gonna be updated anytime and we are hoping people will contribute
eventually, it’s sort of a blog but it’s like an event page, it’s a continuing
process.” Ombao said.
The said launching is called Kunsthalle Manila which is a
German word of exhibition. Ombao added
that they are supporting young Filipino designers for now, and they also
welcome some designers from the province.
“We are targeting young professionals whether they are into
interior designs or furniture or not, most of the young people now are the one
getting their own spaces, of course furniture’s comes with that, even with
people who want to personalize their spaces thru furniture’s.” Ombao added in
closing.
Ombao’s co founder is the web developer Migs Suelto along with
Pam Medina.
