Store bought toys are special, but toys handmade with love are treasures that your child can keep forever. That’s why Memory Crafters and Nica thought of creating this workshop! It won’t only make not just fun toys for play, but valuable memories as well, together with your child.
What you’ll learn from this workshop:
A. Why Make Toys?
- Discover how making things together can benefit your relationship and teach your children important values.
B. Make Things Together
- With an ample supply of materials such as empty cardboard boxes, bottle caps, sticks, yarn, colored markers and glue, you and your child will create toys and other fun things together.
- Within the session, you will make three different objects. Two will be taught step by step, easy enough to learn, while the last one will be an original concept you and your child will come up with. That will be your chance to use your imaginations together and get as creative as you can!
C. Nothing Comes to Waste
- Learn how to save junk at home which you can reuse and recycle to make fun things on your next arts and crafts session!

About the Speaker
Nica Cosio is a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful girls. She is also a freelance graphic artist and illustrator. During her free time (mostly when her children are napping) she occupies herself with arts and crafts which she writes about and shares on the blog she keeps with her husband (www.carlosandveronica.net). She loves to read, make art with her children, and throw DIY parties.
