Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. 1st Dragon Boat Race in Puerto Princesa City

The very first Puerto Princesa Dragon Boat Race was held at Baywalk last June 29th. 

I brought along Mikyla for her to witness this first time event in the city. Went there at around 6.30AM for it was told that the program will start at exactly 7AM.

Waited for more than an hour. While waiting for the race to start, I saw some of the participants doing their selfie shots while they're waiting for their race too.


Roaming around the baywalk, was able to see the 4 units of dragon boats to be used in the race. :)



Also, some group who'll participate in the race did some rounds of exercises prior to the race. 


After the long wait, since the City Mayor has already arrived and announced the race to start, my heart skipped fast! The excitement as a first timer is apparent!
