Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. It seems 2014 is one of the highlights for the Pinoyrock band Aegis, they dominate two prestigious event in the last weekend, the Philpop 2014 Grand Finals at Meralco Theater last July 26, 2014, wherein the cast of Rak Of Aegis perform the songs used in the play, mostly songs of this famous band, headed of course by Aicelle Santos, Isay Alvarez and Robert Sena.  And on the grand finale night of The Voice Kids at the Newport Theater at Resort World last July 27, Aegis band is live doing a production number with the grand winner Lyca Gairanod, some say that number really convince the audience to make Lyca the winner because she prove that she should qualify as the fourth vocalist of the band in that sing off. The Life of the first ilocano Catholic Bishop Alfredo Verzosa is now a musical play that depicts his vocation and faith through colorful events way back Spanish, American and Japanese era in the Northern Philippine settings. It brings back his childhood from a wealthy clan in Vigan up to his studies as a Priest, and becoming a Bishop and was later assign in Lipa, Batangas. But the most notable part of his career is when he supports the rose petal shower miracle at the Carmalite Monastery in Lipa that put him in a bad light, after Vatican imposed a pending investigation on it. However, his charities, the way he spends his inheritance for the poor and his struggles to some religion make him a hero of his chosen faith. Now on it 62nd Year, we are happy to be invited and witness this legendary ceremony at Solaire Resort and Casino last July 12, 2014.
