Yummy looking cake. But looks can deceive, you know! Ang tigas ng cake.. So frustrating! I just learned the other day that the bakeshop/coffee shop owned by my high school batch mate closed down already and is now a "BBQ/sisig resto".  I went there one afternoon after a tiring shoot I had, to try some it's yummy food listed on their menu. But unfortunately, almost 75% of those listed were not available for consumption. It was actually disappointing. But still not losing hope, I ordered a cake and asked for some latte (next was a frappe but no avail). So I settled with a can of soda. Beautifully laden menu.. But UNFORTUNATELY, 75% on the list aren't available.    Very neat and nicely arranged place.  The cakes.. I just hope not all of these are "PANGAT". LOL For they sure all looks so delish! The front. It's almost 4 months that we're exclusively using cloth diapers for my baby Moirah, and I can proudly say that never a single moment we think about disposable diapers. No matter how enticing their offers are, I still don't care, as long as we are using cloth diapers, never a gain will I try to let my daughter use disposable ones. Moirah's few sets of CDs Imagine how many moms are still using disposable diapers for their babies. That being the case, imagine how many spoiled nappies to be thrown, imagine that those things will not degrade nor be dissolve for more than 500 years. Imagine  this dump trailer  full of soiled nappies. Mother Earth will sure cry for help! In my own little way, I know I am helping Mother Nature. Videoke is a very popular form of entertainment in the Philippines. An entertainment in which novice singers or just anybody who wants to consider singing, sing alongside with recorded new music utilizing a microphone. Watching August Rush sometime last week made me love to listen to more orchestra-tic music! Who wouldn't? I love how those musical instruments joined together can make a very lovely sound! It feels so good, really. Big percussion gives me thrill! Violins are enticing! Enhances the moods (positively). Now, it made me feel sad that orchestra is not really a "thing" here in the Philippines. But anyways, would really be great if one of my kids be interested in joining or even learning musical instruments. Before I had this thick song book that have the notes of every beautiful old songs I've known, but someone borrowed it but didn't return it. It could've been a good start to learn playing musical instruments like the violin or guitar. Now, I wonder if I they're selling some  exceptional Hal Leonard  products here in the Philippines?

I am blessed with the best sets of friends. I've been with them since time immemorial! We've been through ups and downs and we stuck together.  And now that most of us already have families, we have less time to see each other. Specially that they're working outside Palawan area. But we make it a point that when they're in the city we meet and spend some quality time along with our kids/family.  Time has made us all mature and change a little, but I am thankful that our friendship remains the same.
