Hotel Sogo extends help to communities in CamSur

Hotel Sogo continues to care as it ramped up its effort in helping the country’s indigent communities by reaching out to several communities in Luzon. Recently, it donated school supplies to over 300 school children in Triangulo Elementary School - Diversion Road, CBD II, Barangay Triangulo, Naga, and Oroc-Osoc Elementary School - Oroc-Osoc, Caramoan, Camarines Sur. Hotel Sogo also distributed long sleeve shirts and black out tarp cover from Hotel Sogo’s collateral materials for use as cover for tourist and fishing boats to 200 fisherfolks from Brgy.Paniman, Caramoan Camarines Sur. To celebrate its 50th milestone, patrons can look back at its history and its pioneers, revisits its archives and the lineage of practices and reflects on the issues that confront the practice of printmaking through an exhibit.  Last May 18, 2018 the renowned Qingdao Peking Opera company held a performance of The Monkey King Making Havoc in Heaven at Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) little theater. As part of the 2015-2018 Executive Program of the Philippines-China Cultural Agreement for cross-cultural collaboration of Sarswela and Chinese Jingju in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, the distinguished “National Advanced Cultural Collective” Qingdao Peking Opera visited manila and showcased their gala performance of the classic traditional repertoire Monkey King Making Havoc in Heaven. The pre-pageant night of #BPOQueen was held last night at 6pm in Sequoia Hotel, Mother Ignacia, Quezon City where the remaining twenty five candidates displayed their gorgeous and fabulous body and aura. Rnel Mangahas, finalist from last year's Mr. and Ms. BPO, once more hosted the event. Philippines To Host Mister World 2018.

Over 100 of the most desirable men from around the world is set to compete for the tenth edition of Mister World. Miss World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria greatly accepted the challenge of mounting and staging the pageant at Resorts World Manila Newport Performing Arts Theater on January 27, 2019. Julia Morley chairwoman of Miss World Organization made the announcement through Facebook on April 3, 2018. The Philippines will become the third Asian country to host the event after China in 2007 and Korea in 2010.
