Love for romance and love for environment. A Lakbay2Love Film Review.

Image
Lakbay2Love official poster. Lakbay2Love is a film about beauty, no doubt. The sceneries shown in Lakbay2Love by Erasto Films are all worthy to be shown onscreen. Eye candy with a breathtaking feeling, would make you wish that you could explore those mountains, hills through biking. This is the third offering by the award-winning filmmaker Ellen Ongkeko Marfill, following Pusang Gala and Boses. Lakbay2Love stars Solenn Heussaff and Dennis Trillo. Solenn plays Lianne, a videographer who features forester Jay-R (Trillo) who advocates biking for healthier environment.  Lianne is recovering from heartbreak over Macky (Kit Thompson) who happens to be a friend of Jay-R. Their fates crossover.  But the film does not create so much of a love triangle feel. One very good thing about Lakbay2Love is the details of its characters. The research was well analyzed and given justice through their dialogues. You can feel that it is not just about biking. It also points out some ne...

The play may start at a humdrum pace but gets intriguing to the end just like most of whodunit stories.  The excitement blended with hilarity makes the entertainment. The Little Prince in us.

Image
I have this book way back then, The Little Prince by Antoine De Sant Exupery, it used to be one of my favorites , it really fascinate me how a kid hop from one planet to another and meet different type of people. But honestly, I don’t understand it so much, I believe there are many meanings and statement those characters are portraying. Until I watched it last Christmas season at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, presented by Tanghalang Pilipino, Prinsipe Munti under Layeta Bucoy as the playwright, and direction by Tuxqs Rutaquio. This time in Filipino, i solely understood its meaning and significance to the new generation. With many translation and versions in the movies and in theater, Prinsipe Munti of TP is a delight to watch, plus the songs are so good to hear, i wish they record it and release it as a soundtrack soon. Many of my bloggers friend and me too are all touch, some of us cried and feel connected how a young Prince fall in love with his rose, how a Pilo...
