About Gossipers

Image
Dear Friends, Maraming samahan ang winawasak ng "GOSSIPERS", ak.a. TSISMOSA. Kung may tsismosa meron ding tsismoso....mga taong ang goal nila is to build themselves up by making others look bad and exalting themselves na maraming alam. Many a friendship has been ruined over a misunderstanding that started with gossip. Those who engage in this behavior do nothing but stir up trouble and cause anger, bitterness, and pain among friends. Gossipers speak of the faults and failings of others, or reveal potentially embarrassing or shameful details regarding the lives of others without their knowledge or approval. They are "busybodies," saying things they ought not to. "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Friends... Gossipers have no place in heaven...they deserve to go to Hell for ruining many. May we all follow the Bible’s teaching...

Why I Choose to Use Cloth Diapers

Image
It's almost a month that we are exclusively using cloth diapers for Moirah. And I can say the it's so economical and a very smart choice! I believe that it is being smart to choose cloth diaper, not only it helps saving Mother Earth, but also saving our pockets with lots of money from spending on expensive disposables.. There are so many reasons. Cloth diapers are soft against your baby’s skin. Cloth diapers are also free of the many chemicals contained in disposable diapers. Our common sense tells us that cloth diapers are the ultimate in recycling because they are used again and again, not entering a landfill until they are nothing but rags. Of course, some people want more than this common sense approach--they want facts. Here are a few well-documented facts to help inform your choice.  Environment In 1988, over 18 billion diapers were sold and consumed in the United States that year.4 Based on our calculations (listed below under "Cost: ...

My DIY Baby Ring Sling

Image
My youngest daughter is almost 9 months and is getting heavy each day. Carrying her most of the time is actually a tasking thing to do. Decided to look for a cheap baby carrier to buy online and I found out about "baby wearing"- wherein you'll be like "wearing" your baby when you use a ring sling to carry him/her. So I searched for ring sling on sale (online), and found tons of it. But unfortunately, they all costs almost $50 (Php2000.00).  And honestly, I can't afford that much at this time. I don't have the luxury to buy one. Opted to do a DIY.. Of which I found the instructions HERE. It actually took me less than an hour to sew this stuff. Really of BIG HELP, specially when I am working on stuffs that needed my hands.  If you want to use a No-Sew one, you can find how to make it HERE .

A Call and A Challenge To Conserve Water

Image
Imagine, if you're so thirsty but when you tried to get water from the faucet, you just squeezed a drop. Can you cook without water? Can you keep a good personal hygiene without water? In short, can you live without water? If you answered NO, then you must act now. Recent studies showed that the Philippines is facing a water crisis over the next 10 years unless new sources are developed to meet growing demand. "There is a [Japan International Cooperation Agency] study that says that in 2025 if we will not conserve water, there may be some problems. But of course we can always start conserving now and look for other sources," said Edgar C. Lopez, Philippine Waterworks Association president. "Groundwater in the Philippines may be depleted by the year 2050," a University of the Philippines professor said in a report based on a study that started in 2006. "The Philippines is one of the countries in Asia Pacific that is facing an imminent w...
